Creating A Beautiful Life Out Of Grief With Tara Marino
Aug 11, 2020 Episode 9
Lori Latimer

This episode is a little longer, but I promise you it’s worth listening to in full!

I first met Tara Mariino online in late 2010. At that time, I had no idea how our paths would end up being similar in so many ways. At first, I was drawn to Tara’s grace, beauty, elegance, and essence.

As I learned Tara’s story of grief and loss, and saw the beautiful life she created from that space, I was inspired and touched. She became my mentor and I went on to work with her at a very high level in her Creme program. Never did I dream that I’d end up on the same path of child loss that Tara has been traveling for over 18 years. When I found myself on that path, Tara was one of my biggest sources of support and inspiration in a new way. She continues to inspire me.

I hope our conversation will inspire you. This is probably the most real, raw and vulnerable interview I’ve done so far, and perhaps that I’ll ever do because of my close connection with Tara. I’m deeply honored that she took the time to do this for me, and for you.

  • The moment she sucked down the pain over the loss of her baby
  • Paying attention to the gifts from our children in Spirit
  • The question she asked herself that became her turning point
  • The “birth” of Elegant Femme and growing it to a multimillion dollar business
  • Who we are without our labels and rebuilding our identity after loss
  • How beauty and lingerie impacted her journey
  • The three distinct pieces of ourselves we need to pay attention to everyday
  • What the Indie, Frenchie and New Yorker are - and they how can support us on our grief journey
  • How her vacation in France turned into a Paris Fashion Show with her own clothing line
  • How to allow the truth and knowing that life is short to change your life
  • The questions to ask yourself each day on your grief journey
  • How Tara incorporates grief into a beautiful life
