Pleasure is every woman’s birthright. This is an invitation to light that spark within you and reclaim the parts of yourself that have been lost and forgotten. To light that spark the world told you to dim. The spark that aches to burn brightly. As women, we’ve lost that spark and with it, our connection to pleasure. Navigating my own grief journey filled with pain I didn't know was possible, and working with other women walking similar paths, I've come to realize that far too often we get stuck in the pain and turn our backs on even the possibility of pleasure in life. Sometimes we're aware that we're stuck in our pain, but more often it's something we aren't aware of.
In this week's episode, I share why it's so important to find harmony between the two very real human emotions of pleasure and pain. Libra carries the energies of balance and harmony (among others). The planet Venus rules the sign of Libra, and Venus brings beauty, love, values, and pleasure (among others) to us.
Both pleasure and pain are necessary, and allowing ourselves to find harmony between the two is an important component of our healing journeys.
